“Trust in Him at all times” (Psalms 62:8)

Saints choose to trust God, even though they know it places them at a severe disadvantage in competing with sinners. “The world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world ... Sanctify them by Your truth. Your Word is truth” (John 17:14-17).

If you obey God in all things, He’ll set you free from the chains of this world. “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31-32).

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world - the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life - is not of the Father but is of the world” (1 John 2:15-16).

Productive saints live according to the dictates of God’s Word, regardless of the cost. But, if you don’t live according to the dictates of God’s Word, it’s best that you don’t identify yourself as a Christian.

Walk with integrity, and thereby show your confidence in God no matter what He causes or allows, submitting to Him in all things. “We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ … we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;  and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us” (Romans 5:1-5).
