“Marvelous lovingkindness” (Psalms 17:7)

God has given saints everything they need to live victorious lives.

He sacrificed His Son so you could be set free from sin and guilt. “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? … It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us”  (Romans 8:32–34).

He gave His Holy Spirit to live inside you so you could know Him intimately. “He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him ... your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God” (1 Corinthians 6:17-19). “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God ... The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God” (Romans 8:14-16). “The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us” (Romans 5:1).

He created a New Man inside you so you could grow in holiness. “Put on the New Man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness” (Ephesians 4:23-24). “Put on the New Man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him” (Colossians 3:10). And now, because of His marvelous lovingkindness, you, “with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18).

Seeing God has done so much for you, what are you to do?  “Be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power” (Colossians 1:9-11).
