“Now acquaint yourself with Him” (Job 22:21)

In order to save His elect, God left nothing to chance. “He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself” (Ephesians 1:4-5). THIS WAS HIS PURPOSE.

Before He created time and space, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit were LOVE. He didn’t need us…but He wanted us, and now He’s poured in our hearts His love by the Holy Spirit who He’s given to us (Romans 5:5). THIS WAS HIS WAY.

YOU HAVE HIS SPIRIT.“God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit”
(1 John 4:12-13). He’s your Illuminator, Instructor, Comforter, and Sanctifier. “We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18).

Your goal should be to grow in the grace and knowledge of your Lord, to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, so you can walk worthy of Him (Colossians 1:9-10). How can you best do this? READ HIS WORD.  “As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby” (1 Peter 2:2).
