“You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:26)

“He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons” (Ephesians 1:4-5). The Fatherhood of God is not conditioned by race or social standing. “There is neither Greek nor Jew ... slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all” (Colossians 3:11). The Fatherhood of God is not conditioned by wealth. God chose “the poor of this world to be rich in faith” (James 2:5). Every child of the Father is judged by their fruit. “Peace to everyone who works what is good ... For there is no partiality with God” (Romans 2:10-11). God judges all saints equally. “There is no iniquity with the Lord our God, no partiality” (2 Chronicles 19:4).

If you are a child of God, you’ll be treated as a child who either obeys or disobeys His Father. “You serve the Lord Christ. But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality” (Colossians 3:24-25). So you can obey and be like A faithful child, or disobey and be useful as an object lesson of what happens to rebellious children. “If you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear” (1 Peter 1:17).

“My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives” (Hebrews 12:5-6). If you are a child of God, you’re just as much His child as the most useful saint. Knowing that God will never abandon you should encourage you to obey Him in love (1 John 4:18). “This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day” (John 6:39).

"This cov'nant stands secure, Though earth's old pillars bow; The strong, the feeble, and the weak, Are one in Jesus now."
