“And so all Israel will be saved” (Romans 11:26)

Oh! What a glorious day, when God delivered His people without even one casualty. Having walked through the Red Sea without incident, they watched from the safety of the shore as the waters covered Pharaoh’s army. They sang to God: “You in Your mercy have led forth The people whom You have redeemed” (Exodus 15:13).

And soon you’ll be in heaven, singing your song: “Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers ... shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).

“For all the chosen race Shall meet around the throne, Shall bless the conduct of His grace, And make His glories known”.

As many as God has chosen, as many as Christ has redeemed, as many as the Spirit has called, as many as believe in Jesus, shall safely cross the dividing sea. We’re not all there yet, but a large part of our procession has already reached the shore. Most of us are still marching through the depths. We keep going, knowing we’re “surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses ... let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:1-2).
