“I will help you’, says the Lord” (Isaiah 41:14)

 This morning, hear the Lord say to you: "I will help you". If you’re saved, it’s nothing new for God to help you. Since Christ sacrificed Himself for you, it’s logical for God to “supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). Christ says, “Help you? No matter how much I do for you in the future, it’s far less than what I’ve already done. Before the world began, I chose you. I made the covenant for you. I laid aside My glory and became a man for you; I gave up My life for you; and if I did all this, I’ll surely help you now. Your future help has already been purchased by what I did on the cross”. 

 “If you needed a thousand times as much help, I’d give it to you. Whatever you need, it’s nothing for me to grant. Help you? Don’t fear! If there were an ant at the door of your kitchen asking for food, you’d think nothing of giving him enough food to last him a lifetime; and you are nothing but a tiny insect at the door of My all-sufficiency. Of course, I’ll help you!”. 

Oh, my soul, isn’t this enough? Do you need more strength than the omnipotence of God? Do you need more wisdom than what exists in the Father, more love than what exists in the Son, or more power than what exists in the Holy Spirit? Bring your empty vessels to God! Surely, He’ll fill them. Hurry, gather all your desires, and bring them. All your emptiness, your sorrows, your essential requirements for survival. Behold, the river of God is enough to meet your every need; what else could you want? Go forth into life, with the promise of The One who saved your soul ... the Eternal God is your helper! 

 "Fear not, I am with thee, oh, be not dismay'd! I, I am thy God, and will still give thee aid."
