You are from everlasting (Psalm 93:2)
Rejoice, oh saint, that you have entered the everlasting state of being IN Christ. “Believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith - the salvation of your souls” (1 Peter 1:8-9).
You were always part of His plan. “He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world … having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 1:4-5)
.
He came to save you. “When the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman … that we might receive the adoption as sons” (Galatians 4:4-5).
He chose you to believe in Him. “God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you by our Gospel” (2 Thessalonians 2:13).
He still makes intercession for you. “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).
But you must repent when you sin. “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins” (1 John 2:1-2).
And conform yourself to Him. “As obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts … but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct” (1 Peter 1:14-15).
Until He changes you for eternity. “Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is” (1 John 3:2).
And if you don’t know Him, there’s still time to believe and be saved. “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him” (Revelation 3:20).
