“He will choose our inheritance for us” (Psalms 47:4)

Believer, if your social and economic status in the world is lower than low, be assured, you can be completely satisfied in your relationship with Christ; for what God causes or allows in your life is according to His will.

Christians must, with rock-solid faith, rely on the fact that “all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).

This fact will enable you to weather the storms and more…the storms will make you stronger if you stay in humble submission to the Lordship of Christ. When you accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, it meant, you willingly (by faith), turned over the rule of everything that happens to you.

Since that time, the Holy Spirit bore witness with your spirit that you are a child of God, and if His child, an heir of God and joint heir with Christ, if indeed you suffer with Him, that you may also be glorified with Him. “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” (Romans 8:8).

Remember this, if God saw any other condition as better than the one you’re in, divine love would have put you there. By faith, you should say, “thank you Lord for choosing my inheritance for me, for my self-will has pierced me with many sorrows”.

Be content with what you have, since the Lord has ordered all things for your good. Take up your cross daily; it’s the burden best suited for your shoulder, and will prove most effective to make you perfect in every good work to the glory of God. Rebellion is for sinners.

“Always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:15-18).
